Methodist Hospitals to Offer Free Scoliosis Screenings for Children - November 8, 2018

Up to 9 million people in the U.S. are affected by scoliosis.  Left untreated, scoliosis in a child can lead to life-long deformity and arthritis.  It is important to seek treatment from a doctor if you suspect a child has scoliosis.  Scoliosis screenings are painless and non-invasive.

Free scoliosis screenings are being offered to children 9 and older on Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon at Methodist Hospitals CareFirst located at 1275 E. North Street, in Crown Point, Indiana. Screenings will be performed by Board Certified Spine Surgeon, Dr. Ashish Patel.   Reservations are required.  Space is limited so call to register at 1-888-909-3627.
