Methodist Hospitals and the Association of Black Cardiologists to Host Free Fall Community Health Fair - October 22, 2018

Methodist Hospitals and the Association of Black Cardiologists, under its signature community-based program Spirit of the Heart, will host a Free Fall Community Health Fair in partnership with other local and national sponsors.  This event will offer lab tests for Glucose, HDL, LDL, Cholesterol and PSA for men.  Free flu shots, HIV testing and heart and stroke risk assessments will also be offered.  Health education will include CPR and Stop the Bleed demonstrations, Ask a Pharmacist, Breast Care information, Diabetes education and more. 

Local musical talent will be featured, and Val Warner from ABC7 Chicago News “Windy City Live” will emcee this event.  This event is open to the general public and will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon at St. Timothy Community Church located at 1600 W. 25th. Avenue in Gary, Indiana.

The event will feature activities for kids and all attendees will be entered into raffles that will include tickets to West Side Theatre Guild Production featuring gospel artist, Marvin Sapp & Val Warner of ABC7 Windy City Live.  Raffle winners for West Side Theatre Guild Production will not need to be present to win.
