Quality Service Administrator Shows Commitment to Excellence through Volunteerism
Gary, IN- Lawanda Jones, director of quality services, has recently become a State Baldrige Examiner through The Partnership of Excellence, which administers the Baldrige Assessment Process throughout Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia.
The examiner’s role is to evaluate and analyze assessments submitted by applicants based off of the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence. Examiners are also required to participate in a consensus team and conduct a site visit of applicants. Applicants receive written feed-back reports from examiners.
The Partnership of Excellence’s mission is “to cultivate performance excellence and continuous improvement among business, education, government, healthcare and non-profit organizations based in Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia.” Methodist Hospital’s is proud that one of our own has join the ranks of such and elite group of individuals.
