NEW HORIZONS CANCER SUPPORT GROUP OFFERED
AT SOUTHLAKE MALL

New Horizons, The Methodists Hospitals' cancer support group is having its first meeting from 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m., Thursday, September 6 in the Community Room at Southlake Mall, Merrillville, IN. The guest speaker will be Paul Stanish, M.D., Surgeon.

Led by an experienced team of therapists and nurses, the staff will facilitate the group to progress in a positive, nurturing and healing direction. On the first Thursday of each month, physicians representing various specialities will present educational offerings to participants.

"It's important for patients and families to know that they are not alone when dealing with cancer," said Mary Jo Hagen, R.N. "The support group is here to provide support, educate, and answer questions for those who choose to attend," added Hagan.
