Methodist Hospitals’ Employees Share Warmth This Holiday Season

Methodist Hospitals’ employees from both campuses joined together in the spirit of the holidays to hold a holiday food drive and provide gifts to children in need. Perishable food items were donated to the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana. Employees once again teamed up with the Salvation Army to donate Angel Tree Gifts. Cr Works, Inc. donated stuffed animals to the Methodist Hospital’s pediatric units just in time for the holidays. Stuffed animals were donated to CR Works by Pet Smart. CR Works is a non-profit organization located at 4950 Broadway in Gary, Indiana. 

Methodist Hospitals Auxiliary Awards Nursing Scholarships at Annual Luncheon

Two Methodist Hospitals LPNs were honored and awarded LPN to RN scholarships to complete their Registered Nursing degrees at Methodist Hospital’s Annual Auxiliary Awards Luncheon. The LPN to RN Scholarship program was started by the Auxiliary in 2011. This year’s scholarship recipients were Keith Leigh and Latoya Haggard.

Methodist Hospitals Donates Supplies to the Salvation Army Gary’s Adult Rehabilitation Center Just in time for the Holidays

Methodist Hospitals donated a one year’s supply of daily living necessities to support the Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) in Gary.
