Gary, Indiana - May 10, 2012: Methodist is once again hosting its Free Community Health Fair at their Midlake Campus in Gary, Indiana. The health fair will offer free health screenings to the community. Free screenings include blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, prostate blood test (PSA) and Heart attack, stroke and peripheral artery (PAD) risk assessments. Free health information on many health care topics will be offered along with and Ask a DOC booth. All attendees will be entered into a raffle to win prizes.
The free Community Health Fair will be held on Saturday, May 19, from 9 am to noon, at the Methodist Hospitals Midlake Campus located at 2269 West 25th. Avenue, in Gary. No registration is required. Some tests are limited and are provided on a first come fist serve basis. Twelve (12) hour fast is required for blood sugar, and cholesterol.
