Nephrologist to discuss kidney care for diabetics
Nephrologist David Ashbach, M.D. will discuss “Taking Care of Your Kidneys” at the Wednesday, April 5th meeting of Methodist Hospitals’ Diabetes Support and Education Group from 2 to 4 p.m. at the hospital’s Midlake Campus, 2269 W. 25th Ave., Gary. Dr. Ashbach will discuss how diabetes and high blood pressure affect the kidneys and what can be done to protect them.
