Methodist Hospitals Announces Partnership in Excellence Gary, Indiana: (September 26, 2006) --- Methodist Hospitals has engaged FTI Cambio Health Solutions, LLC, a national leader in hospital operations and quality improvement, to launch a Partners in Excellence Program aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality and financial performance. The agreement is effective beginning October 1, 2006. Charles Brooks, Chairman of Methodists’ Board of Trustees, made the announcement of the agreement. “The Healthcare industry is one of the most rewarding yet challenging imaginable. Our goal is to strengthen Methodists’ ability to fund its future as well as patient and physician needs. FTI Cambio has an outstanding track-record helping other hospitals to get that done. We are delighted to have them as our partner.” Under the terms of the agreement, FTI Cambio will work with hospital senior executives and employees to provide specific operations expertise and implementation support to help strengthen the hospital and the services it provides to the community. Training and transfer of knowledge are key features of the relationship.
