Dinner to raise funds for NWI Parkinson’s Inc. - May 22, 2017

An upcoming dinner emceed by Tomfoolery Fun Club hosts Tom Byelick and Michele Piskol will raise money to help those suffering from Parkinson’s Disease in the Region.
NWI Parkinson’s Inc. will have its annual fundraising dinner at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Avalon Manor Banquet Facility at 3550 U.S. 30 in Hobart.
The nonprofit’s charitable event features a stand-up comedy performance from Tomfoolery’s Lucky Luciano and doctors modeling fashions from Elizabeth’s in Highland and John Cicco’s Menswear in Merrillville. In addition to comedy and the style show, there will be complementary champagne, a silent auction, a raffle and live auction for a one-week Caribbean cruise for two.
All proceeds benefit the nonprofit group, which organizes support groups at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Crown Point, Methodist Hospital Southlake in Merrillville and Community Hospital in Munster. The dinner funds those programs, as well as group therapy sessions, Rock Steady Boxing of NW Indiana at Munster Community’s Fitness Pointe, and dancercise and yoga classes at Methodist in Merrillville.
Tickets are $60. Anyone seeking a table for 8 to 10 people must reserve in advance.
