Who We Are
Methodist Hospitals Maternal Child Services is comprised of primary care, gynecologists, perinatologists, oncologists, and cardiologists. In addition, our nutritionists, psychologists, therapists and other healthcare professionals complete the Maternal Child Services team at Methodist Hospitals.
Maternity Services
The Methodist Maternity Services at both the Northlake and Southlake campus offer comprehensive obstetric care and education for the patient and family anticipating the birth of their child.
Our skilled and certified physicians and nursing staff are experienced in the management of both the uncomplicated and high-risk pregnant population. With today’s most advanced equipment in fetal monitoring and techniques to manage complications of labor, even high-risk pregnancies can be handled with confidence. In addition, a team of qualified medical neonatologists and nursing staff are prepared to provide your premature or seriously ill infant the specialized care they will require.
Our Maternity Services includes spacious Labor and Delivery suites which allow you to labor, deliver and recover in the comfort and security of a home-like setting. If unexpected complications arise, a surgery suite is centrally located for immediate access. Smaller, private rooms are available for mothers who are recovering from a cesarean section
