Childbirth
Our safe, secure and comfortable Labor and Delivery Suites provide a warm and welcoming start for moms, dads and newborns.   Should complication arise during delivery, state-of-the-art surgery suites are located for immediate access.

Nurseries
Healthy newborns receive immediate care in the Labor and Delivery Suite, and then they are transferred to the Wellborn Nursery.  Unfortunately, not all babies are born as healthy as we would like.  Methodist Hospitals Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) offers premature infants or babies with other complications 24-hour care from a staff of neonatologists, nurses and respiratory therapists.  Once babies are in stable condition, they are moved to the Intermediate Care Nursery. While in the IMCU, the infants progress will be monitored prior to their discharge home.
