care for school-aged children, adolescents and adults --
including patients over 65 -- who are faced with the challenges
of psychiatric, behavioral health, or chemical dependency
problems.
Methodist Hospitals is dedicated to providing safe,
confidential and compassionate treatment. Our professionals
offer customized treatment plans to meet each patient's
particular needs -- in the least restrictive therapeutic
environment.
A professional treatment team, which may include
psychiatrists, psychologists, addictionologists, counselors,
social workers, psychiatric technicians, therapists, and nurses
provide patient care.
Inpatient Services
Methodist Hospitals offers an inpatient diagnostic program for
the treatment of behavioral health problems. Our expert staff
will work with the referring physician and families as the
patient is treated in our facility.
Our specialized treatment team includes:
- psychologists
- psychiatric nurses
- masters level social workers and
counselors
- recreational therapists
- milieu therapists
- occupational therapists
Adults/Older Adults Inpatient
Services
Our Northlake Campus has a 16 bed adult inpatient unit for
treatment of adults that are 18 years and older who need
psychiatric and/or addiction stabilization in an inpatient
hospital setting.
Child and Adolescent Inpatient Services
Our Northlake Campus has a 20 bed child and adolescent
diagnostic unit which provides inpatient treatment for
school-aged children up to age 17. Licensed psychologists are
available to conduct psychological testing and assessment to aid
in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of mental health
disorders including mood, thought and personality disorders.
