Corporate Health
Solutions (CHS) offers unique corporate health promotion programs designed
to help businesses control the demand for health care services by their
employees. CHS is dedicated to developing working relationships with
businesses who believe the solution to solving the high cost of health
care in the United States is to proactively promote health at the worksite.
We strive to provide quality worksite wellness and cost-containment
programs that will result in healthier, more productive employees. Our
comprehensive health promotion programs are designed to move individuals
with poor health practices along the health spectrum toward a healthier
lifestyle, while encouraging those with healthy habits to continue with
these practices. The goal of our program is to prevent diseases that
are expensive to manage and that often result in poor productivity and
escalation of health care costs for your organization.
Our Wellness
Programs Include:
• Clinical Screening Program
Our most popular program, this on-site health-fair style screening assesses
the overall health of your employees. Our experienced and motivated
health promotion staff will set up a screening at your worksite which
can include screenings for: blood pressure, cholesterol, heart disease
risk, glucose (diabetes), bone density (osteoporosis), PSA (prostate),
and body fat. Other screenings are available upon request. All individual
results are confidential.
• Risk
Assessment Services
Assessing the risk of your employee population is an important step
in setting goals for your program and implementing behavior change programs.
We utilize a health risk appraisal called the Personal Wellness Profile®
(PWP) from Wellsource®, one of the leading developers of risk assessment
programs in the country. Participants complete a series of lifestyle
related questions which, through a 20-page computerized report, help
assess their overall health. When combined with a clinical screening
program, the PWP is a great tool for identifying those employees who
may be at greater risk for disease or injury. Preventive programs can
then be targeted to these at risk employees. Utilizing the Wellsource
Follow-Up Manager, we are also able to follow your at-risk employees
to make sure they stay on track.
•
Individual and Group Behavior Modification Programs
These programs provide your employees everything they need to modify
unhealthy lifestyles and improve their health. Each self-study packet
in our WellAssured Guides™ series contains a self-help study booklet,
along with supplemental information to guide your employees through
the process of behavior change. Packets are offered to help your employees
quit smoking, manage the stress in their lives, control their cholesterol
and blood pressure and more! The self-help packets can also be combined
with our group behavior modification classes to provide the added benefit
of group feedback and support, audio visual aides, interactive problem
solving, and personalized attention from our staff of health promotion
professionals.
• Consulting
and Support Services
Many companies do not have the luxury of staffing a dedicated wellness
department. By taking advantage of our experienced health promotion
professionals you can have your programs up and running quickly and
smoothly. We are available to assist you throughout all phases of your
program, including management and employee newsletters, as well as program
design, implementation and evaluation consulting services.
• Monthly
Health Newsletter
WellInformed, our “ready to copy” health and wellness newsletter
for your employees, can be mailed to you monthly. You may distribute
it as a two or four page newsletter or use our articles for you company’s
newsletter. Whichever you decide, WellInformed is a valuable addition
to any program. Annual subscriptions are only $ 120, regardless of the number of employees you
have. If you would like a free sample copy, please call the Center for Health Promotion."
