AHA honors Methodist Hospitals Committment

Press are invited to attend the AHA Heart of Gold Ball on Saturday, Feb 16 at the Radisson Hotel, Star Plaza. The event begins at 6 pm and awards will be presented at 9 pm.

The American Heart Association is presenting Claude Watts, Jr, CEO/President, Methodist Hospitals with a special award to recognize Methodist Hospitals committment to the fight against heart disease and stroke in Northwest Indiana. The award will be presented at the AHA's Heart of Gold Ball held on Saturday, Feb 16 at the RAdisson Hotel in Merrillville.

Methodist Hospitals will once again serve as the American Heart Association’s exclusive presenting hospital sponsor for northwest Indiana. As a result of the partnership, Methodist Hospital sponsors several American Heart Association events, including Heart of Gold Ball, Go Red for Women Education Symposium, Lake County Goes Red, Start! Heart Walk, and Power to End Stroke educational programming.
