Who We Are: Northwest Indiana's Healthcare Leader

With two, full service hospital campuses in Northwest Indiana, Methodist Hospitals, Inc. stands as the region’s leading healthcare provider. Since its beginnings in 1923 the hospital has been a not-for-profit community based healthcare system.  Although no longer administered by the Methodist church, Methodist Hospitals continues to provide a sense of community and compassion for its patients, its staff and its physicians. Methodist is currently under the guidance of a 26-member board of directors comprised of educational, business, professional, and ministerial representatives from our service areas.

Our Mission and Vision

The Mission of Methodist Hospitals is to provide compassionate, quality health services to all those in need. Our vision is to provide the best place for employees to work, the best place for patients to receive care and the best place for physicians to practice medicine.
