To meet the complex needs of women experiencing high risk pregnancies, The Methodist Hospitals provides a wide range of specialty services. Women who are experiencing high risk pregnancies, such as multiple birth, premature birth or medically complicated pregnancy are referred by their obstetrician or family practice physician.

These services are provided by an experienced medical care team, and are directed by a Board Certified Perinatologist, a physician who specializes in the management of care for the high risk pregnancy and fetal diagnostics. The team includes physician specialists in Obstetrics/Gynecology, Neonatology, Pediatrics and Maternal/Fetal Medicine, along with specially trained nurses and technicians.
