Prepared Childbirth Classes –Prepared Childbirth Classes –This is a five week course designed to assist pregnant mothers and their partner learn about labor, delivery and the immediate post partum period. The first four weeks focus on labor: relaxation, breathing, and physical conditioning exercises. Week five discusses parenting topics. Recommendation for attendance is 7 – 8 month of pregnancy. Classes take place on Tuesdays at our Midlake Campus, 2269 West 25th Avenue in Gary from 6 to 8:30 pm and on Wednesday at our Southlake Campus, Center for Advanced Clinical Studies Conference Room from 6 to 9 pm. The Center for Advanced Clinical Studies is located at 200 East 89th Ave, Merrillville.
