Community Calendar

Diabetes Self Management Education Classes (DSME) – Comprehensive diabetes education involving all aspects of treatments as well as prevention of chronic complications.  Classes are a total of 12 hours including follow up class.   Classes meet at two locations:

• Thursdays and Fridays from 9 am to 3:30 pm (2 all day classes) or Mondays from 5 pm to 8:00 pm (3 Mondays in a row).  Must have physician referral. Classes held at Diabetes Center at Methodist Hospital’s Midlake Campus, 2269 25th. Avenue, Gary.  To register Call 944-4160.
  
• Wednesday 9 am to 12 pm (3 Mondays in a row).  Must have physician referral. Classes held at Diabetes Center at Methodist Hospital’s Midlake Campus, 2269 25th. Avenue, Gary.  To register Call 944-4160.
